Let's make Christmas crackers!
A Christmas cracker is a coloured paper tube, twisted at both ends. A Christmas cracker traditionally contains a paper crown, a small gift and a joke or riddle. At Christmas, a person pulls on each ends of the cracker and when the cracker breaks, a small chemical strip goes "pop" and the contents fall out.

Riddles and jokes.
I have a face but no head
What am I?
a clock
I have four legs but no toes
I sometimes have two arms but never any hands
I have a back but no chest
I sometimes have a head but never a face
But no roof and no mattress
You can lie on me but you cannot walk on me
What am I?
the sea
I can go up a chimney when I am down
But I cannot go down a chimney when I am up
What am I?
an umbrella.
What do sea monsters eat?
Fish and ships
What city has no people?
Electricity
Why was the baby ant confused?
All his uncles were ants
What do moths study in school?
Mothematics
Where do cows go for their holidays?
Moo York

The end of Harry Potter!!!
This is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series.
This is the plot: In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. It all ends here.

Tiny Planets.
Recently, the Diagnostic Assessment Test for Andalusia asked us about Tiny Planets cartoons. We didn't know anything about them, so I've found some information and a video related to them.
Tiny Planets is a British television show. Tiny Planets follows Bing and Bong on their adventures in the Tiny Universe. Bing and Bong are two white furry creatures who live on a planet with an apparently icy climate. Their white sofa catapults them across their solar system to explore the mysteries of light and colour, animation, sound and the water cycle. Their solar system has 6 other planets, each with a speciality to it (nature, sound, light and colour, technology, "self", and "stuff", respectively).

The water cycle.
The Water Cycle is the journey water takes as it circulates from the land to the sky and back again.
The Sun's heat provides energy to evaporate water from the Earth's surface (oceans, lakes, etc.). Plants also lose water to the air (this is called transpiration). The water vapor eventually condenses, forming tiny droplets in clouds. When the clouds meet cool air over land, precipitation (rain, sleet, or snow) is triggered, and water returns to the land (or sea). Some of the precipitation soaks into the ground. Some of the underground water is trapped between rock or clay layers; this is called groundwater. But most of the water flows downhill as runoff (above ground or underground), eventually returning to the seas as slightly salty water.

Easter eggs!
Easy Steps In Dyeing Easter Eggs With Food Colouring
You can colour your Easter eggs using so many colouring materials such as natural dyes, crayons, tissue paper, spray paint, etc. But I chose food colouring for a more easy and traditional activity with the kids.
Materials:
- hard boiled eggs
- white vinegar
- small bowls or empty cups
- water
- food colour drops (choose the colours you want)
Steps:
1. Fill small cups about 1/2 full of water. Don't make it too full or else when you put the eggs in, it will overflow.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar for every 1 cup of water.
3. Add drops of food colour until you're happy with the shade (it's best to add 2 more drops of food colour when you found the right shade because the egg turns out more what you originally wanted.)
4. Put hard boiled eggs in the small bowl or empty cup (I use plastic thongs to put them in and out of the bowl)
5. Get it out of the colour mix and let it dry. Wipe with vegetable oil (with paper towel) to make a glossier egg.
6. After dyeing, you can design the eggs with crayons, colour pencils, water colours.
Have fun with your egg hunting!

Friendship Day!
We celebrate Friendship Day instead of Valentine's Day at school.
However, Friendship Day celebrations take place on the first Sunday of August every year. The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US in 1935. Gradually the festival gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in large number of countries. On this day people spend time with their friends and express love for them. Exchange of Friendship Day Gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands is a popular tradition of this occasion.
Friendship poems and sentences:
*Friendship isn't a big thing.
It's a million little things.
*If you are in trouble,
If you need a hand,
just call my number,
because I'm your friend!
*Friends are like balloons.
If you let them go,
you can't get them back.
So I'm gonna tie you
to my heart,
so I will never
lose you.
